I've read a few negative side effects of CLA - I was just wondering if people were still using it and what your thoughts were on some of the studies like these :

Personally I wouldn't let that article put me off using CLA - It is a very long way from saying there's any long term health risks, at worst it points out there may be side effects that we don't fully know about yet.

No, I completely appreciate that - but its the unknown that bothers me. There's been studies in humans which indicate little to no adverse side effects in the short term but the idea of getting a fatty liver has no studies to prove or disprove it in humans and also a I've noticed people speaking of hot flushes and head aches while taking it I originally ordered it based on it just being a fatty acid and thought that couldn't be harmful to humans but headaches and hot flushes might indicate otherwise just thought I'd ask others who'd taken it what they noticed and if there was actually a significant benefit from the drug.

I've been using it while losing weight and purely anecdotally I find it helps reduction of fat around my midsection specifically. I have not had any side effects that I have noticed and have been using it for a few months now.

With regards to the potential health risks I figure that it is a relatively short term supplementation which will stop when I hit target, that combined with the lack of any concrete evidence either way means the benefits which I am actually receiving outweigh any potential unsubstantiated risks.
