Coffee right after post-workout shake

Hello!!

So here is my schedule:

1) Wake up
2) intense Gym (currently on the TSPA program)
3) Post-Workout Shake
4) On the way to work, grab a latte (espresso with whole foamed milk - around 100ml coffee, 200ml milk)

I love my morning coffee, but I am willing to let it go for the better success of my TSPA program. So my question is:

does the morning latte, which come 10 minutes after the post-workout shake, influence in any way how my body reacts to the gym-session or protein-shake?

The espresso part is fine (0 calories, carbs, protein, fat), but the milk could inhibit absorption of the whey that soon after the shake. You want a fast saturation of your exercised muscles with fast-digesting whey. You're certainIy not doing any harm, but I suggest waiting a bit longer (45 minutes or so?) after the shake to eat anything else if you want the most benefit.

I guess i'll just switch to the office espresso without milk after workouts!

huh? drink your coffee on the way to the gym--no fats of course. This is for enhancing your pump. Mark takes 200mg caffeine tablets.
And Tim Ferris implanted a glucose meter and found that the small insulin spike you get from your whey protein shake does't hit for an hour (read: blood ain't carrying it to the muscle).
so. . . and this is what I do, which doesn't mean much except to me, is I try to drink my protein shake so that at exactly one hour after that I have just finished my workout. Remember, don't stay too long or you will go catabolic. Then. . . I have the required 1 gram each of Creatine and Glucosamine. then I wipe the spilled powder off the floor of the gym and go home and have a cup of matcha green tea (super anti-oxidant to restore whatever) while I'm waiting for 2 hours from protein shake ingestion for my breakfast. whew
