Fast metabolism - what supplements?

Hi guys,
Just wanted to ask if anyone knows any cheap supplements for a guy with very fast metabolism... I work hard but I can't gain much... I am taking some whey poder and creatine.. But it shows only small results... :( Should I just eat much more protein powder? I dont have that much money...
I was trying to find some cheap stuff online and got across this guy who says you can make your own supplements much cheaper at home... I am not sure if I should go for his "secret" recipies or if it is safer to buy stuff in a shop... Does anyone know if his stuff is safe? Nope, you should eat more chicken. Seriously, if you don't have much dough, just start buying whole frozen chickens and chopping them up. Your body needs more protein (assuming your going 5 for 5 at the gym), and whey protein is NOT the way to add it! Save the whey just for your one post-workout shake, and aim to eat real, whole foods the rest of the day.

Make sure you aren't performing some of the classic muscle blunders, too.

Your body will thank you, as will your wallet.

Thanks man. I dont want to stuff myself like a pig though... Right now I am eating 5 -6 times a day, but smaller portions...
I guess I will have to get some supplements too... What do you recommend?

You said yourself you have a very fast metabolism and you're not seeing the gains you want. It's not stuffing yourself like a pig if that's how much your body needs. :roll: I think what he recommended is adding some more chicken to your diet. If 5 or 6 meals/day isn't getting the job done, try 6 or 7. There are days I eat 11 times.

I imagine the reason you're not seeing the gains you want is that when you switched to eating more frequent meals you also started eating smaller meals. The net increase in food intake is probably negligible. Eat food. Lift big.

If you must, you can take one additional shake for weight gain; Mark has this monster-shake recipe for use separate from your workout time:

Eggs, and more eggs, and plenty of good fats, including raw cream. They are really cheap and awesome, and so readily available and versatile. They obliterate any supplement. Search Marks site, theres tons of positive info on them. I ate around a couple of dozen a day, for around 12 years, until moral/philisophical reasons took over. I've already commented on it heaps in some of Mark's egg/fat articles. Eat at least a dozen a day. 2 or 3 each meal. In fact, I have been travelling OS heaps, and have had a change of heart, and last week started eating them again. It makes getting protein, fat and nutrients so easy, hassle free. I already feel more deluxe!
