Eating GLAD and supplementing with Reflex instant Whey (specifically cos for 99cals per shake I get 20g protein with only 1.5g carbs and 1.4g fat (I was eating MANS to begin with). It apparently has peptide bonded glutamine and digestive enzymes in it (similar to yakult pro-biotic yoghurt drinks etc, which apparently aid protein absorption. It's also cheaper than pure isolate and I'm easily getting enough protein from diet to only need 2 shakes a day
Other than that:
8mg L-glutamine (2mg breakfast, 4mg post workout, 2mg bedtime) to aid recovery
5mg creatine (post workout, 20mg when loading for 5 days)
Interesting to read that some believe there's no point in creatine cos any gains are just retained water! Yes you look a little bigger when supplementing with creatine as a result of the water it directs to your muscles but this is absolutely NOT the point of taking it! Not only is it naturally in your body anyway, but if my memory serves me right it's there to maintain glycogen reserves in your muscle which assist with providing the explosive power required from fast twitch muscle fibres. In other words it helps you crack out the best performance possible from your workout as well as assisting the recovery process. That leads to increased REAL muscle gain and is especially important for us ectomorphic 'hardgainers' who naturally have a lower concentration of fast twitch fibres.
