i was wondering..i bought a new protein, and it says it has 3780gr of glutamic acid, and i recently bought a METRX glutamine, so i dont know if i wasted my money or isnt the same
No, they are two separate amino acids. Most protein powders do contain a significant amount of glutamine though. Over-consuming a certain amino acid could potentially block the absorption of other amino acids, so I would recheck the amino acid profile on your protein powder if you are going to take added glutamine with it to make sure it doesn't already have the necessary 4-5g glutamine per serving.
well it says....3gr og lutamine per scoop!....bu when i read the amino profile, it says 3780gr of glutamic acid...so,,,should i take an additional 3gr of pure l glutamine to compensate that? cheers...and thankx surfer
