I'm thinking about just buying pure Whey protein isolate from a wholesale website. Does anyone know if there are any disadvantages to buying the protein all by itself and mixing it with milk as opposed to mixing like a Nature's Best Isopure protein with milk, or any other protein supplement??

Thanks,
Mike

the reason I like Nature's best isopure is the low cholesterol, only 2% of your daily value for 2 scoops (per 50 grams of protein). Ive seen some brands which give you 30% of your cholesterol per scoop (so 60% if you use 2 scoops). Plus nature's best isopure already has the L glutamine mixed in.
but depending on your diet and other supplements, cholesterol and L glutamine may not be a factor.

Why are we caring about dietary cholesterol? There's no link between eating cholesterol and having high cholesterol. That's like saying that you're too fat so you need to eat less fat. That won't get the job done.
