My God, it's a British supplement I actually want to try!

Seriously, as a carb loader, if it lives up to the no bloat claim, I'd buy it over the Now Foods product I'm using now - despite it costing nearly 3 times more.

As to the product itself... it's processed barley starch. Should work GREAT as a carb loader overall, though MyProtein looks pricey as all hell for everything when viewed with American eyes (though I've yet to see a product from them that screamed garbage, which you can't say for any manufacturer this side of the pond). Just one word on these fancy new carb supps - avoid the "waxy" ones. "Waxy" starches - like waxy maize starch and waxy barley starch (not the same as this) - are not fast-absorbing, and do not create the insulin spike we actively WANT during a carb-load phase. Might be good for some folks, but for us not so much. ;)

I hope this is relevant.
I buy Corn Sugar (granulated Dextrose) from a beer brewing supply store.
$4 bucks or so for a big bag.
Is this rare? No, a beer brewing supply store just opened up down the street and I went in and asked him
if he had what I wanted. I think they refer to it as "starter sugar". But. . . . it says "Corn Sugar (granulated Dextrose)"
right on the package.
Is this rare across the pond?
NOT
Google your town name and "beer brewing supply" (in whatever language you need)

15grs of dextrose in a tablespoon, by the way
