He's talking about Mauro Di Pasquale's Anabolic Diet, not MANS.

Right, Dr. Di Pasquale was convinced that anything which produced ketosis resulted in muscle breakdown, too. And that MCTs (now that I re-read that section) bypass the body-fat-burning aspect of the diet.

I remain unconvinced, mainly because so many luminaries in the field of low-carb physiology remain divided over it. MCT oil, for the fat-adapted, is instant energy.

I suppose one thing they have in common is they both agree to disagree which is a healthy debate :)

I relish the opportunity to follow the debate! :D

Dang it, I knew I forgot to put something in my spinach smoothie this morning! It was supposed to have a T. of MCT oil. I'm doing another couple days of fat-flush, you see. However, I put a T. in a flax muffin which I brought to work with me, so I'll eat that slowly over the course of the day and hopefully it'll keep me running. I'll run the smoothie experiment tomorrow and let you know how it turns out. :geek:
