BodyBuilding - Diet Plan Help?

Postby samwise* on Wed Nov 23, 2011 5:25 am

Hi Muscle Hack forums, Im samwise, your average 32 year old male, with a build around 176 pounds. Im English and living in NZ.

For the past 3 years I've been conditioning and painstakingly trying to achieve my fitness goals. One includes a great core / mid section. With no real consistency, I’ve been often disappointed with my results. Some people want money, cars or love, I want ripped six pack abs and about 5-10KGs of pure muscle. Im dedicated and serious about results hence why im here :)

I've downloaded the T.H.T training bookrecommended by my PT and am working my way through it. It’s fantastic so far. I've recently made some pretty big changes to my exercise routine over the past 2-3 weeks in line with these philosophies and have started body building seriously and as a relative new comer to body sculpting im reaching out for some experienced guidance around diet and nutrition.

There are a lot of 'jack of all trades master of none' enthusiasts out there both in the real world and scams on the web; through my research I’ve learned lots of people have an entirely different opinion about what best to eat to what exercises to perform. It gets frustrating when they contradict one another, to say the least Im hoping to find some solace in the Muscle Hack community.

Below is a cut out of my diet plan; I’ve read here that greatly reducing my carb intake is key in forcing the body to use up natural fat storage and I want to better grasp how many carbs to be taking on board through the week.

I currently train a 3 day split (no cardio) Day on day off. I will be working this plan for the next 8 weeks.

Thanks in advance.

If you really want to get a six pack then I would highly recommend you get TSPA. I tried it and have been very happy with my results. It takes the guess work out of things and provides a solid step by step plan to get you to your goal.

If you insist on doing it on your own you need to know your maintenance calories and then eat about 750 calories below which = 5250 calories which is equal to the number of calories in 1.5 lbs of fat. Your diet doest not list the calories your consuming or what your maintenance calories are so pretty tough to give any kind of feed back in that regard.
