Carbing up prior to week off?

Carbing up prior to week off?

If your STOP week is coming up would you still carb up. So say my 10 week cycle ends next thursday and I would usually carb up on the following sunday, would you still have the carb up or would you avoid it as you wont be in the gym again until thursday? I know there are no real rules but just thought it would be nice to get your thoughts.

I carb up before my S.T.O.P. week. At the end of May is my next one, and I actually plan to take an entire week "off" the diet and exercise program while I vacation in St. George, UT: eat what I want, when I want, where I want, as I want, exercise only as I feel like it recreationally. That said, I want to try to make healthier choices than I used to, but without the benefit of a carb/calorie calculator in my pocket all the time, and I'm eager to see how I do on a "week off" the program.

I wouldn't carb up personally, but I go more for cut and definition rather than increasing size/weight so that's just my personal choice. A day or two of carbs when your body might not need them isn't going to make a significant difference either way.

Ok thanks for the input guys, your plan Matt sound like one I may implement myself at some point just to see how my body goes with it.
