I just joined today. I am currently working with a nutritionist (Shelby Starnes) and am doing a Keto diet/ Anabolic switch.
I used this in the past but jumped ship after about 6 months (dont know why really) My goal is to drop about 2% bodyfat. I am currently at 7.5% at 182lbs. My workouts are now morning cardio session on empty stomach (low intensity-treadmill walking for 1 hr) I lift 2 days on 1 off (chest and bi's, legs, OFF, Shoulders & Tri's, Back & Traps-- Repeat) The diet is great, I find it very easy now since I have transitioned into the "ANABOLIC SWITCH." I am not doing the carb up day for the 24-36hr time period. My nutritionist gives me 1 hr on Saturday nights to eat whatever I want. In the beginning i was doing pizza, garlic bread, cheesecake.. etc (All the LAZY foods) I am actually thinking of going for a CLEANER carb up/"CHEAT MEAL" this weekend (Maybe have some oatmeal raisin cookies though.. ha!)
Just wanted to see what the thoughts were in CLEAN vs. Lax Carb up. Also any input on the way mine is set up would be great. I already asked my nutritionist and he basically said whats the point of eating like that for so long? I know all abou the smoothing out. I may go back to that 24 hr carb up when he and I are done working together.
