Well, if they would offer the exact same beverage choices in caffeine-free, it'd help! I like the way diet Mountain Dew tastes, but can I enjoy it? Oh no, there's no caffeine-free version. Caffeine-free diet Dr. Pepper exists, but it's not ubiquitous like the leaded version is. And then throw in the fact that I want them to be Splenda-sweetened instead of aspartame, and it's hopeless. The only thing I can drink now apparently is Diet Rite. It's just ok.

And then there's the question whether any sweetener at all, even non-caloric ones, is going to shut off the fat burning switch and throw the fat storage switch... am I going to be reduced to drinking nothing but water all the time?!
I know, exciting diet, boring body... but boring diet = boring life for me! Sigh. Maybe if I was single, boring diet/exciting body would be a better carrot... I mean, it's not like I'm fat enough that my husband pays less attention to me!
