1. What's your lean body mass (or your body fat percentage)? Then we can give you a better estimate of how many calories you should eat to lose weight.
2. Net carbohydrate grams are the grams of carbohydrate that you eat that have an impact on your blood glucose and therefore insulin response. Fiber carbohydrate grams are just that, grams of carbohydrate that are in the form of fiber (think All-Bran type cereal or green, leafy vegetables; these are foods high in fiber). They have very little if any impact on blood glucose and insulin production. If you live in the US, you subtract the number of grams of fiber from the number of carbohydrate listed in a food to get the net carbs. If you live in the UK (and most of Europe, I think), it's already done for you. Net carbs is the number listed as carbohydrate.
