If hidden carbs are not listed, we may as well add 1/2 gram carb to EVERY FOOD ITEM we eat. That would be a safe bet. I'm not a nutritionist or food scientist so I don't know enough about what constitutes food but let me do some simple math below:
Egglands Best Large Egg
http://www.egglandsbest.com/nutrition/n ... facts.aspx
Total Calories: 70
Cal from Fat: 36
Cal from Protein: 25.2
Cal from Fat+Prot: 61.2
Leftover Calories: 8.8
Based on this, the leftover 8.8 calories would come from carbs, which is 2.2 grams. Unless there are other things that contribute to calories which are not of protein, fat and carbs, then I am screwing myself. Yet, Mark says (and I have accepted by other sources) that an egg has .25 grams of carbs. How do you verify if a product has carbs???
HOW IN THE UNIVERSE DO YOU TRULY KNOW IF A FOOD DOESN'T CONTAIN CARBS!!!
