I bet if I looked up any kind of food or drink etc you will find people saying its bad for you. Heck the air we breathe - polluted, water we drink - polluted, sunshine = bad, all meat sources for the most part have steroids etc. Majority of all the fruits and vegetables’ have pesticides etc. It’s enough to make one stop eating everything. Organic is very expensive and there is no guarantee its 100% organic as it’s not regulated at all.
Most of the information is purely opinion with very little credible research to back it up. Hell, look how controversial carbohydrates, protein and fat are and how varied the opinions are on how bad they are for us. If we can't even come to a consensense on macronutrients how can we ever come to any kind of meaningful decision on all this other stuff?
I eat far healthier than I did before I started working out and getting in shape and my body and health have greatly improved. For me life is too short to go through it worried about a lot of this stuff especially when it lacks any kind of credible research behind it.
At the end of the day people need to check stuff out for themselves and then make decisions that work for them and their life.
