That's pretty much what I'm doing at this point. Should be able to achieve ketosis at 60g of carbs - it works on TSPA so there's no real reason it should break itself eating more fat and protein. Only on week 2 but so far so good - and the damn ketostix still turn color. ;)


I'm starting a new cycle tomorrow and was going to use GLAD (I've ben 'practicing' with it during this off week) because of the extremely-restrictive 30g max carb limit of MANS. As I wrote in the TSPA forum, the diet part of TSPA is sort of like a weight-loss version of GLAD with some MANS theory as well (sorry folks, you'll have to get TSPA for the details), but that doesn't necessarily mean the higher-fat MANS diet works at 60g carbs. Now that you're more than a month into it, how's it going?

I remember Mark saying on the Facebook fan page, that he would recommend stick with the 30g net carbs limit if you're on MANS, as MANS is such a high fat diet. It's different on TSPA (TSPA:ers know what I mean).

My modified Musclehack diet is:
50% TSPA
23.7 MANS
58.2 GLAD

Not by choice.

Work got crazy so I haven't stuck with my diet tracking. I know I am not eating enough calories to put on muscle. I've been sticking at an average of 50-60g of carbs per day without making sure I am eating a caloric surplus. Thus far I am slowly increasing many lifts, but not increasing in weight or bodyfat.

I will be at the beach next week taking the week off from all diet restrictions and no exercise. Two weeks after I have a family trip and I think timing is good. I am getting sick of watching what I eat and not seeing any change in my body.

I hope to come back recharged mid-August and ready to really try a modified MANS to put on some size. I want to add 10 pounds of muscle!

Oh -- and anyone thinking about getting TSPA - Just do it. This is what it did for me. I am in the best shape of my life...
