Looking for some guidance on the MANS diet

Postby THE BIG V on Fri Jan 29, 2010 11:49 pm

Hey Everyone,
I'm 16 years old and I've just been introduced to the 'Steroid Diet without the Steroids' and I find it very interesting and completely doable. Since steroids are a lipid and a lipid is a fat, makes perfect sense all of it. I am looking to bulk up muscle by the way.
I have just come out of an 'attempted' fat loss stage and lost some muscle along the way which really gets to me. I'm 6 foot 160 pounds 140 pounds of lean mass.
Now my main question here is are excess (Well not so much excess but 'extra necessary') calories still required? Like I'm stick to the a gram of protein each pound of lean mass so you don't go overboard with insulin, and the rest made up with fat. I also thought it might be a good idea to have an apple and thats it each time before a workout since they are a 'wet' carbohydrate and are absorbed quicker and then have no carbs after the workout. I just really want to make this diet effective to muscle gains. I imagine that it may be a slower process than the traditional bulk, but as long as I can keep fat levels absolutely minimum and below, and still gain muscle, I am very happy with the slower way.
I've never really been one for snacking on chocolate or craving sweets or carbs or anything, so I think I may have a good shot.
Has anyone had good experience with this diet with muscle gains? Any tips to improve muscle repair? Much appreciated,
Cheers
