I'm about to follow a low carb diet to ensure that I'm loosing fat. The problem is in Sri Lanka I'm finding hard get right food for this program. Is there anyone wanna share about their low carb plan. I need a sample meal plan (5-6 meals a day).
Thanks a lot.
Y'all got meat, eggs, cheese and vegetables in Sri Lanka?
There is no "right food" for these programs. If you're doing MANS, you just limit your carb intake. If you're doing GLAD, you need to count glycemic load - which you can calculate for food in Sri Lanka the same way you do anywhere else, just look up the nutrition info online, weigh out your food, and do the math. Is there a specific challenge you're encountering? Like a specific food or item or supplement you can't find or don't know what it's called in your part of the world? If it's just the general issue of everything you pick up is crazy stupid high carbs, that challenge is universal. Here in the United States, our food supply is truly garbage. Lots of empty carbs, refined sugars, and high fructose corn syrup in everything - it can be
very difficult to find food. Like personally, cutting out the high fructose corn syrup meant changing a LOT of the things I buy, from ketchup to cereal and everything in between. It's frustrating, and it isn't easy, but I'd rather deal with my trips to the supermarket taking a really long time than not being able to see my toes!
