hi i just found this site and it seems really interestin to me because i struggle with diets, although i am neither under or over weight.
i am 18 and ive been wieght lifting for two years now (not religiously, its on and off depending on what im doing) i have always found it hard to build muscle (it mite be somthin to do with the fact that i have type 1 diabetes, but i dunno it did make me 4stone till 1 was 13) and recently i was ill and lost 7lbs and ive decided that just liftin weights isnt goin to help so if anyone had any meals that were high in protein and stuff that would probably be a gud help. thnx!

I have been eating atomic, and cajun wings from wingstop. I did some research and it shows 0 carbs (or close to it) per wing. They cook just the chicken without adding anything to it except for the sauce.

I also heard that eating something very spicy has the same effect on losing calories as drinking ice cold water. These Atomic wings are so hot, that even if you can stand the hotness in your mouth, you still can't eat more than 5 in a row because your face turns red  , head gets numb, eyes water, your ears ring, and you can't even talk. They also tear your asshole to shreds when you take a shit the next day.

Yea, I dread the day after I eat hot wings. It's like my mind is saying, "brace yourself, it's going to be like having a baby."

I almost feel like printing off a birth certificate after one of those sessions.

I was in the process of making another homemade protein bar using one of Mark's recipes, they are delicious by the way. The only downfall for me is the carb content in the peanut butter I use, I know you could use Almond butter but it's a bit on the costly side so I started to use chopped Almond instead. Yesterday though I made one with sesame seeds and 100g contains only 0.9 g of carbs but lots of fat and some protein, theres 21.5g of protein and 58g of fat. Compare this to peanut butter this varies with different brands but can contain up to 12.5g of carbs, 25.6g of protein and 46.1g of fat so you can see the benefit of sesame seeds on low carb. I use 50g of sesame seeds, 25-30g whey and 40-50ml double cream and it tastes good.

Google for "Carb Not Bean-It Butter". I'd provide a picture, but the container is at work where I mostly use it as a topping for celery. Nominally, carbohydrate equals fiber in this condiment. However, it's very low-carb... not no-carb.

It's a little spendy, and the flavor is NOT peanut butter (though it looks the same). It tastes a bit "off" the first few times you try it and your palate expects peanuts, but it's much lower calorie and lower carb than regular peanut butter. It's pretty good... once you get used to it and start expecting soybean butter rather than peanut butter!

Thanks for that redgiki, I have found it on what I believe to be called netrition.com. Only problem is I'm in the U.K so if I can find it from a U.K seller that would be ideal.

Thanks again, I will search the web for it.

I have been consuming quite alot of double cream and I was getting a little sick of the taste, not so much that I couldn't drink it but... You might of heard of the drink crusha, well there's a no added sugar version and it only contains 1g of carbs per 100ml so a 25ml serving added to some cream comes to 0.25g of carbs, now that's not much and it really adds a nice tast. So if your bored with just drinking cream give it a go. You could also add it to unflavoured whey to give it a nicer taste. Just a thought, I'm sure you could add it to other things.
