12:00-- 2 hard boiled eggs other half of poll-o string cheese

2:00-- grilled chicken wrap, or tuna wrap. (low carb wraps, romaine lettuce.) or whatever dinner is leftover

6:00-- dinners like ground beef,w salsa. or steak w spinach. or low carb pizzas this changes daily

9:00-- fish oil capsule, sometimes w 25 grams protein and heavy cream

It's hard to guess without knowing the quantities of what you're eating. How many ounces of chicken or tuna at lunch? How much lettuce? How much steak at dinner? How much spinach? (or how much of whatever it is you're eating for dinner) How much heavy cream are you putting in your bedtime shake?

I put it in Fitday with some guesses of 6 oz. broiled chicken & 1 cup shredded romaine, 6 oz. beef steak & 2 cups raw spinach, what amounts to 3 grams of salmon oil, and 1 fl. oz. of heavy cream. It seems a little low in calories for bulking. Protein on that example is probably fine. It is, of course, well within carb thresholds, but it is very light on fiber and vegetables. Based on my guesses, you're going to have deficiencies in vitamins C, D and E, calcium, magnesium, manganese, thiamin, and, of course, potassium. Now if you took a centrum-type multivitamin and ate 19 cups of raw spinach, you'd be meeting or exceeding all your recommended daily intake. But you'd probably be puking, so you'd probably end up with an electrolyte imbalance anyway! Not even *I* can eat 19 cups of spinach! I can probably only manage 15 on a good day, through the course of the whole day. 8-)

Still, I'd recommend you get a lot more veggies, and you might try replacing your chicken, ground beef or steak with pork loin, albacore tuna, or halibut. Those meats are among the highest in potassium.

Are you taking any other supplements besides fish oil?

but he is cutting trying to lose last 2% right, so for cutting to lose those last few pounds this seems good to me. Not something you want to maintain for an lifetime maintenance thing, but for this final cut it seems good.

Learned an interesting fact from an interview with a doctor on a Livin' La Vida Low-Carb podcast yesterday. Most meat is actually really high in potassium, but because we often don't consume the drippings or broth in Western culture, we lose most of it! But if you boil your meats and drink the broth, you're getting plenty of potassium... often way, way more than the US RDA requires.

Alternatives include eating your meat raw or rare, and supplementation of course.

Oh, I see. It was posted in the "Build Muscle/Bulking" section, so that's what I was addressing. Perhaps this would be better posted in the Fat Loss Diet section.
