Great job! Getting over the "information overload" and getting started is half the battle. The second half is sticking with it every day for the rest of your life :)

Hahahaha, what the hell are monkey nuts, and are they really something you want to be incorporating into your diet?!
(ETA: yes, I did look them up, but I couldn't resist the off-color remark... I've never heard them called anything but peanuts, goobers, and goober peas. Actually, if you said "goobers", I would hear "Goobers", which is a name brand of candy, consisting of chocolate-coated peanuts.) I wouldn't think peanuts would be a very good carb bargain, actually, since they're legumes, not nuts. (She says, after just yesterday breaking her fast with a tofu pudding and lunching upon shelled edamame...)

Peanuts are also known as earthnuts, ground nuts, goobers, goober peas, pindas, jack nuts, pinders, manila nuts, g-nuts, and monkey nuts; the last of these is often used to mean the entire pod.

...says the wikipedia. Funny names :D

Sounds like a great menu for me to try, I'll just cut everything you eat into exactly half! Of course, I'd replace the broccoli with the carb equivalent in spinach, but that's my personal quirk.

Matt, could you imagine me trying to make an actual meal out of one measly drumstick and a couple of ounces of broccoli, or half an avocado and 12 grams of pumpkin seeds?! Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No... it's MEGA-BITCH!!!

And she looks hungry... don't get near her mouth...

Love that quote redgiki for the rest of your life  You are certainly right about getting started you try to take in so much information you start to forget the basics. I will try and get creative after my first 12 days…Hope I make till then :D

One good thing I have noticed while starting this diet today I feel full longer than usual due to the high fat taken in each meal also you don’t have to eat every 3 hours due to the high protein and high fat so you’re not constantly time watching for your next meal.

Yeah. I'm a fan of the "eat every few hours" thing because I stick to my way of eating better when I do so, but a lot of people do really well with just 3 square meals and a post-workout shake. Your body, your science project.
