I was on the warrior diet for a llooong time until I went to smaller meals a day routine about a year ago.
I was wondering if 'staying hungry' was an anabolic trigger?
I noticed that I have gain some chubs since eating at regular intervals throughout the day, versus eating a small
meal or nothing at all during the day and then eating as much as I wanted of everything I wanted to in the evening when I got home from work, school, etc.
I was incredibly lean when on the WD but also some days hypoglycemic because of the last nights carb ingestion, though that was totally depended on the GI level not so much of the carbs. Overall, I really liked how I didn't have to eat for the whole day and just drank water or snacked here and there. Then eating a ton of food at night... worked great for 5 years lol.
The only problem was that it worked a little too well on maintaining weight but horrible at gaining alot of muscle mass, even though I was shredded through most of that time I lacked mammoth size I longed for.
I was big before but that was with weight gainers, pills and crap that made me feel sick the whole time. Wanna go at it all natural this time and from now on!
I was thinking, have a small protein meal for lunch and then a mammoth sized protein/fat and veggies dinner?
Then on the weekends, pig out on weight gainers, pizza, burgers, chilli cheeze fries, fried chicken, bisquits, you name it...
That way I can incorporate the warrior diet on the weekdays and then gorge on the weekends.
