I ate 1/4 of the fries and then I was only able to eat half my dinner. I packed up the rest for lunch the next day. I was surprised by the healthy choices.

I went to the gym on Sunday to take advantage of my pumped up feeling. I had a very good workout. So, will the carb ups help me to increase my fat loss or will it just help to make me stronger and more energized?

I was SO addicted to curly fries and tater tots I probably didn't go one day without them for years. The smell still gets me, so I don't think I'll ever go there again. It's not worth it.

I love(d) french fries and especially curly fries too. I was a little disappointed that I didn't enjoy eating the fries that night.

I read that pro bodybuilders (after weeks/months of cutting and thinning) actually carb-up before a contest to get some of that bloating for the show. I have a picture of Franco Columbu eating a huge piece of pizza before a contest.

Interesting I always heard the opposite, that bodybuilders and models tend to carb down and/or take diuretics before a competition or photo shoot to remove as much water as possible under the skin so they get a more shredded and defined look.

I definitely notice a soft and less defined look for a short time after downing a high carb meal, and I seem to have the most definition in the morning after waking up, which is probably when I'm at the most dehydrated state I'm going to be in for the day.

In the bodybuilding.gr forum a bodybuilder posted a thread with a complete pre-contest guide. It had carb cycles, supplement cycles, sodium cycles etc... the carb-up phase is immidiately before the contest during the pump phase and it was done with a milk chocolate... the carb-up is not the day before. If it was I think it could have negative results.
