Testomonial haters/Non believers

Postby The_Cougarkid on Fri Jul 08, 2011 2:37 pm

Hi there,
I would like to create this thread to address the negative beliefs that most people have regarding Bodybuilding.I am the last one to currently have a testimonial on the musclehack website, something that I'm very proud of I might add.Anyway most of the feedback or comments were positive, but one mentioned that I used "enhanced substances to get my results. Now I have no problem with people thinking I use steroids,in fact it means I'm doing a great job.Plus I'm a wrestler so I get accused of this anyway. What I do have a problem with,is someone will read the testimonial get excited and pumped to turn there physique around, only to scroll abit further down the page to see an accusation of some sort of chemical help.Which will then make some of this people, feel disheartened and not even bother.

Now fair enough this may not be like this for everyone, but some people need to open there minds to the reality that improvements in body composition can be made naturally. For example I'm a fan of Jeff willet,Ron Harris and my new personal favourite at the moment is layne Norton. Who has a huge amount of articles online to help natural bodybuilding. And all these guys look awesome, and are frequently tested and polygraphed at there shows. So the haters need to pull there fingers out of there ass,do the research and work hard.

Now if you want to know what I believed enhanced my progress, its a combination of this.In 09 of march I had been working out for three years, then I stumbled onto musclehack,I read everything and the next day I started on man's.I was lifting 4 times a week, doing 4 hours of gymnastics and wrestling on weekends.I didn't cunt calories and I had 36 hour refeeds.I got to 9% bodyfat in two months and maintained that weight until I left for Australia early Dec 09.Now by July I looked terrible worst I had in years,I ran out of money and cudnt train.at the worst point I ate plain noodles for three weeks straight :s then I got a job and from July until Feb I built myself upto my heaviest ever of 14 stone. Then I went to Asia for two months lost 18 pounds or so and looked like my before photo.

But here's the facts, I know what works and I work hard. And coupled with muscle memory I made for some people unattainable gains. For those who arnt bound by social norms and beliefs these are a list of my "enhancements."

Firstly I did a three day fast,to clear all the Asia out of myself, sugar parasites etc. Then I did mans for a day and realised I was already in keto,so I started t.s.p.a too marks exact plan. My supplemental regime for the whole diet and now includes, green tea, fish oils, coconut oil, xtend, protein powder and from 5 weeks in fat burners. That's it.

However I did 16 mins hit everyday and lifted with my phat workout, adapted from layne Norton. 2 days on 1 off 3 on,one more off and then repeat.I haven't missed one workout since I've been home.from 5 weeks in I added 45 minutes liss cardio before breakfast and trained abs. Over the past 11 weeks I have lifted for 8 hours a week and done more in cardio.and I didn't cheat once.no chocolate,no chips,no treats for the whole duration. And at my lowest I ate 1300 calories a day. This is how you transform your body. It's that simple.

I currently am being paid to help others succeed with changing there physique, but as musclehack has been so good to me ,I want to give back. So anyone even haters or people who think there genetics are awful or that everyone who has abs is on steroids I implore you to contact me on this thread, and take on my 10 week challenge!. Let's fill marks page with drugfree testimonials!

Hey man, I appreciate you giving out extra details.
Ignore those morons; it's just jealousy. You did something that millions of people wish they could do, and no one should get you down for it.
Testimonials like yours are a real inspiration to guys like me. As soon as Mark posts any article, I'm there in seconds and I get jacked every time I see results like yours.

I was born with Cerebral Palsy, so my gait and some of my motor functions are impaired. I can't do cardio because I can't properly run or move quickly. I also can't do squats or calf raises because my ankles don't really have the range of motion. Does that stop me? HELL NO. I refuse to take steroids, and seeing stories like yours keeps me going, man. It really does.

On my first run of TSPA, despite my annoying limitations, I got down to 9% body fat and looked amazing. Cripple with a six pack, can you believe it?

Now, unfortunately, college drinking and partying ruined my physique and I got up to 13-15% body fat. I'm going to make another go at it and get back to being super lean. In a few months, I hope to give a testimonial to Mark to give hope to other people with physical disabilities. You don't need drugs or other BS to do this, you just need to want it.

Anyway, I want to thank you again for providing your story. Ignore the haters. If a kid with CP can get ripped without drugs (or cardio, for that matter), then an active wrestler obviously can.

Congrats on your success, keep it up.

P.S. I am sad I didn't take good pictures when I got to 9%. All I have is this crappy phone pic of me at like 11%(maybe more or less, can't remember). Still, it's not hard to imagine a few pounds of less fat on that.

That's a good suggestion, I'll see if I can find a place to swim at regularly.

Hey The_Cougarkid,
I'm on week 8 or 9 of my 3rd 10 week challenge.
I had a pretty empty week when my daughter came to visit so I'm adding a week.
Still hovering just over 10% bf. Driving me crazy.
Screw the naysayers.

Hey, I want to do the 10 week challenge! I am a 23 year old female...bday was yesterday! People tried to make me eat crap but I held strong. This is my 4th week of TSPA and so far I have lost 7.8 lbs and lost 2 inches off my waist. I'm 5'7 and 131 lbs. I like the results so far. It feels like I'm getting smaller but that fat is just chillin right on top of my abs...got a solid two pack and then a spare tire around the bottom haha. This week I'm going to implement a fat flush day and 2 sessions of cardio and see what happens. But It's great to know someone who has been through and knows what works. I'm not a big fan of fat burners but do you think it's necessary that I get some? Let's see if we can get me close to 12% bf!

I don't really believe in fat burner, I have used them.but I think there better for giving u abit of energy rather than actually burning fat.as for the lower stomach region.that is the tough spot on everyone.I'm not a fan of the fat flush. The science behind it makes sense, but those two days fat flushing are low nutrient based which I don't like.
If ure making good progress with ure current food intake then keep it the same. And just add cardio.at the end of the day only change drop calories when ure nut dropping fat. It's a slow journey just be patient!

If u wud like me to take a full look at ure diet then pm me exactly what you are doing.
