too much protein?

i'm currently on TSPA and am finding it very difficult to keep my protein levels down while keeping to my correct fat intake. Is excess protein a protein a big problem? i would apprecaite any help, thanks

Sorry, to clarify. When i say keep my protein levels down, i mean keep them to the correct level, i.e lean body weight x 2.75.

Welcome to my world! :lol: Don't worry about it too much unless you see that you are no longer achieving the results you want. Protein that your body doesn't need for rebuilding can be converted to glucose when your body needs it, but it's less efficient than carbs. It does eventually cause an elevation of insulin, but the effect is a much less dramatic swing like when you eat carbs.

Now, you're posting this in the bulking diet section, so you're not going to get much play or sympathy here. You might want to repost in the TSPA forum.
