That's a waste of time. Both on the vegetarian front and the girl front. Arguing with a girl is always a lose/lose proposition. Even if you "win" you lose.

Anyway, here's the topic that contains the link. diet/animal-protein-and-calcium-t696.html

The difference between us is that I respect her choice and I say that you can be perfectly healthy whether you're eating meat or not while she always keep telling me that I will die from cancer and cholesterol(my HDL is at the highest and LDL at the lowest end of the healthy ranges and I'm eating meat 3-5 times a day)

And that's her problem, not yours. My family is convinced I'm going to burn in Hell for eternity because I abandoned their religion. Does that make them right? Does it do any good to argue the point? I have reason on my side, and they have faith on theirs. You're in a similar situation: she probably chose veganism for egalitarian and humanitarian reasons, not health-related ones. You're not going to reason her out of a position she didn't reason herself into.

and her fabulous vegetarian diet, if it adds years to her life, what does she think she's going to die from? Statistically, the longer you live, the more likely you'll be to get cancer. Sure, there are things you can do to improve your quality of life and also extend your life, but for the past million or so years, there isn't one single instance of anyone cheating the Grim Reaper forever, right?! To bring this back on topic  , if Jesus himself couldn't escape it, it ain't gonna work for her either, no matter how holier-than-thou she gets with her diet.

Oh, and remember... no good deed goes unpunished.
