Consistent Body Building Routine for Busy Life?

Postby Clout on Tue Apr 26, 2011 10:28 pm

I'm new to MuscleHack and its BodyBuilding Fundamentals and how it has made me realize how me realize how much time I have wasted. I used to be on a 12 Week 5 day body building routine. I've honestly completed it about 3 or 4 times.

To be quite honest, working out 5 days a week takes a pretty big toll on my busy life. I know that working out a 5x5 routine is a time tested winner according to Mark. I honestly don't think I can afford continuing to do a 5 day body building routine. It is really time consuming. I am really liking the full body 3 day a week workout routine. I go to school and work at minimum 24hrs a week. Working out 3 days a week seems to fit a lot better into my schedule.

Would it work if I did the 3 day a week routine but after the 10 weeks switch up the equipment I use? For instance if for 10 weeks I've been using dumbbells and free weights and then for the next 10 weeks use iso machines?

I really liked the previous THT 2.0 workout because there was less of a chance of overtraining with that method and you could easily finish within an hour. there is always time for the gym since you only have to workout 3 hours in a 168 hour week. hope you will reach your goals. also make sure that you switch up your exercises after every 10 weeks and make sure they are different because the body adapts and you may stop gaining muscle if you stick to one thing for too long
