Festival Season: Against Social Pressure

Hey all!

Once again, we have come to the Festival Season. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year are all around the corner and of course, tons of delicious food will be served in every homes and your family and friends will definitely be doing their best to make sure you cave in and indulge the evil delicacies.

But what to do if you would like to maintain your hard-earned body but the social pressure is just too tremendous to decline such offer? The article is not very long so it will probably only take a couple of minutes to read. I find it useful and have been using some of the tips so far. Hope it helps you too!

Wow,that woman sounds like a really nice person. :shock: I sure would like to share my holiday table with her! :roll:

Quite! She appears to be giving out advice for situations she is unlikely to find herself in twice.

It's a pretty entertaining article however my strategy is to just enjoy the holidays and not care what I eat for those 3 days a year because, well, it's 3 days a year. Perhaps if I was attending multiple family get-togethers throughout the entire season then I would think about watching it but a day of over-indulgence every once in awhile won't destroy progress, especially if you're someone who works out a lot and has already been on a healthy diet as you'll have a higher metabolism and less insulin resistance.
