I probably only get 2500 cal on carb up days, which is less than what i eat on a regular day. On low carb days, i eat around 3400 calories.

What's cool is that you actually look younger, healthier and more (dare I say) 'attractive'. I would call this a good example of a transformation.

I had similar success in 2008... where I looked (and felt) younger, healthier and more 'attractive'. I just didn't get as lean as you have. That's where I struggle... that last leg of the lean race.

Excellent thanks for that. Most people do a 2 day carb-up one after the other, say saturday & sunday so they go back to low carb for 5 straight days, why do you do them apart from each other if you dont mind me asking? It looks like it's working btw.

thanks. When i accidentally increased my bodyfat when i was first on MANS, i used the TSPA method to get back down to 12% bodyfat. Just takes caloric defecits and extra intense workouts.

I think the workout routine also affects how fast you can lose bodyfat. While the TSPA routine is good, i think its more suited for bulking. I don't think it burns as much calories though. Before MANS, i was on this routine and it really makes you lose fat fast.

http://www.iwantsixpackabs.com/ Best part is that its free and intense. I think its a good workout to use for cutting but not for bulking

i thought i would just update for the lulz. Been working out for 3.5 years now. currently at 161 lbs and i have no idea what my bodyfat is. calipers seem inaccurate.

Feel like i have not made much progress. I thought i would be much bigger and leaner after almost 4 years of working out, but i guess that is natural bodybuilding for the genetically ungifted. I really hate how my right side abs do not show up.

I think I have only managed to achieve body recomposition in these 4 years.

I no longer do low carb dieting, and instead do intermittent fasting instead. I follow the protocols on leangains.com. for both bulking and cutting. It is so much easier to eat 3 big meals instead of 6-7 smaller meals. Im on a bulk at the moment, and i hope i can get to 170lbs at a similar bodyfat
