The motivation thread!!

Postby Rsanviral on Mon Feb 06, 2012 7:03 am

Bodybuilding Motivation, title says it all. I will be updating this original post with meaningful motivationals as I come across them. I encourage you guys to do the same. To avoid thread clutter, simply edit your original post and add the new link.

"People ask us why we do what we do.
People ask us why we want to be so strong.
Some may say we do it for the attention.
Some may say we do it to show off.
Louie Simmons once told me,
"The greatest respect you can earn is self respect."
And that is why we do what we do."

I've invented a sneaky little motivator that keeps me on track day to day - hour to hour. I've written on a bit of paper 9.9% 6PA - My goal BF% and 6PA = Six Pack Abs. Took a photo of this and have saved it to my phone and laptop wallpaper, now every time i look at them i'm encouraged to make sensible choices and stick to my diet and workouts!

MOTIVATION - Someone asks you to post a picture of yourself doing rear lat spread and rear double bicep pose which you take the trouble to do and they can't even be bothered to comment.

That there is some SERIOUS F'ING MOTIVATION! :P

No worries Rsanviral.

My message is that when people tell you won't succeed or are indifferent to what your doing you need to turn it around and use it to motivate you. Telling me I can't do something I have set my mind to do only makes me that much more determined to succeed. Video's and sayings give temporary motivation but that inner burning fire in your belly is what will see you through when the going gets tough. Doing it for you and only you when the world is against you is what seperates winners from losers. When others would give up and turn back you persist. Giving your all in the gym every day consistently. Being strick with your diet whether you're building muscle or losing fat every day. It won't be easy but if you want a body 99% of people will never have you have to be willing to do what 99% of people won't or can't. You can make excuses or you can get results but you can't do both. When the going gets tough..the tough get going!

OUTWORK!

STEP UP!
