Need some clarification on THT?

Okay.. I finally read TA 3 cover to cover.. but I must say I'm a little confused, and I have a few questions.. I would really appreciate it if one of you could explain them to me:

1. According to TA 3 and the space provided in the workout logs, we are supposed to do just 1 set of each exercise, but mark contradicts this in his article on THT?
2. How many times a week should we do the workout?
3. Is every workout supposed to include all exercises? Or is it split up into different days for different muscle groups? If so, how is it split?

And a final clarification..
As I understood it, I'm supposed to do three MASS workouts spaced X days apart (depending on my POP) followed by one CONSOLIDATION workout?

I'd appreciate it if one of you could take the time to clarify these things for me.

Your final clarification answers Q2 and yes its all the exercises in each session.

So how many sets per exercise? That's confusing me as well - just 1? I notice in THT 3.0 he says for shoulders the 3rd set should be supersetted. That's why im confused.

Honestly is straight forward in the workbook, just checked it again to make sure it was the way i thought it was.

It is 1 set per exercise and set 3 just means its your shoulders set.

So for example workout day.

Set 1 - Squats
Set 2 - Pull Downs
Set 3 - Lat Raises (supersetted with) Overhead Press

So he says 3rd set which is the 3rd set of the day, not do 3 sets of one exercise.

Hi-

I guess there's still some confusion out there. In the "THT Volume Cycle" file, it lays out a routine for the week (Monday-Friday) with each day specific to one or 2 muscle groups, and each exercise is done 2 or 3 times. The website has a similar weekly workout routine that does the same (http://www.musclehack.com/build-muscle- ... kout-plan/). I interpreted the book that way also. For example:


Monday – Shoulders

1. Standing Dumbbell Shoulder Press
2. Standing Dumbbell Shoulder Press
3. Standing Dumbbell Shoulder Press
4. Standing Dumbbell Shoulder Press
5. Flies (Dumbbell Lateral Raise)
6. Flies
7. Flies
8. Dumbbell Front Raises
9. Dumbbell Front Raises



Now that seems to contradict the other file "THT Training Log" and what you're all saying about each day being a 12-piece, full-body workout, with 1 set per muscle group...

Anyone care to explain?

Hey there dave. thats the layout for ta 2.0 but since then ta 3.0 was released which was a full body workout and also since that was released there is no ta3.1 which is similar monday to friday idea that was in 3.1 but few different exercises.

Should be able to find links to the updated ta's on the musclehack site and have a read through them also
