fat post workout

I was under the impression that fat in post workout shake (i.e. cream in post workout shake.) was no good. Is that incorrect?

Thats very incorrect, no offense. If your following the M.A.N.S. diet(like im trying to), your body will be using fat as its primary source of energy. If you cut out the fat, you'll have little to no energy for the rest of the day. What you should try to eliminate from your post workout is carbs. These get in the way and inhibit muscle growth, which needless to say will slow your progress. I myself have to re-work my postworkout nutrition to eliminate the carbs and boost the fat.

I'm sorry to say this, but ToughStuffNerd is wrong with what he wrote. No offense.
Fat in you post-workout period (up to 90mins after working out) will only slow down the process of your protein uptake!
Really, just leave out the fat and the carbs and you'll be alright!

Here a quote from the Musclehacker himself:
Post workout you want your protein absorbed as quickly as possible. A High-fat shake will slow the absorption down.
It’s great any other time but not post-workout.
