Sounds interesting....let us know how it goes since Ephedrine is costly to get and has some reported side effects (none of which I have experienced yet)

Yeah i'm with your there Jim. I've never had any problems with Ehpedrine either (except geting the sfuff). The blurbs about L-Carnitine look promising, but then the blurbs always do. A two week trial should show if it has any effects at all. I have come of most supplements to better gauge the effects. All i will be taking is Whey, bcaa's, a litte caffine and the L-Carnitine.

These terms are used to refer to the same substance derived from the plant Ephedra. (There are many common names for these evergreen plants, including squaw tea and Mormon tea.) Ephedra is a shrub-like plant that is found in desert regions in central Asia and other parts of the world. The dried greens of the plant are used medicinally. Ephedra is a stimulant containing the herbal form of ephedrine, an FDA-regulated drug found in over-the-counter asthma medications.

So Aaron, it's been almost 2 weeks, probably 2 by the time you read this.
What do you think of this L-Carnitine?

I finished the 2 weeks supply of L-Carnitine last weekend. Over the 2 weeks i dropped about 4.5 pounds. I normally aim for about 2 lb per week. So did the L-carnitine help? Yes, i think it did. But it's quite expencive and i'm not convinced it's worth the money, not for the amount of a difference it made.

I noticed an unexpected side effect of the L-Carnitine. When i was taking it the pain i was getting from a couple of injuries i have went down substantually. At the time i thought this was just coincedence, but after comming off the stuff the pain increased again. So i started taking it again last week to check this out. Within about 24 hours of going back on the Carnitine, the pain levels dropped off again. I have done a bit of looking inot to this and it seems that L-Carnitine dose have healing properties. Don't ask me how it works but it does.
