The faster you lose, the faster you put back the fat.


Anyone ever heard of this? What is the basis of this? Is it due to what foods are metabolized and all? Thank you. :)

In most cases It's due to the fact that if you loose more than a few pounds each week the chances are that you are loosing muscle as well as fat. And the less muscle you have the lower your meatabolic rate will be, and therefore if you return to eating as you had before you dieted, the quicker you will put the fat back on and in fact probobly put even more fat on.
