The principles of the arm blast experiment would apply similarly to the chest. Until we know all the details, just keep it up with any of the heavy compound freeweight chest exercises like incline/flat/decline bench presses with the barbell or dumbbells.
What I can guess from the experiment is that it is very intense requiring you to really push yourself all the way to your limits. That's fine for arms, but for chest it can be dangerous without a spotter. So if you don't have a buddy you workout with regularly I suggest doing barbell bench presses on a smith machine so you are able to challenge yourself to go all the way to failure without worry of being pinned or dropping the weights uncontrollably.
