Guys...want to get your opinion on this. I like to run by S-Bucks before work in the mornings Mon-Thurs. Usually pick up a Pikes' place regular coffee, just cream, no sugars. When I'm there I have been getting the Egg White Spinach Wrap with Feta Cheese. I assumed it was very high protein and low carb...I just found the nutritional facts. http://www.thedailyplate.com/nutrition- ... -feta-wrap

Does this fit into the M.A.N.S. criteria? Maybe I can just create my own w/ a more low-carb tortilla? Anyway, could be a nice recipe, because these things are really tasty!

unless that was your only source of carbs for the day, then it prolly doesn't fit into MANS. depending on the person, the carbs should hover around 30 (mine is actually lower) per day, and the net carbs for that wrap is 27. i would recommend making your own with low carb wraps. it's prolly cheaper that way anyway...

Does anyone know how the M.A.N.S. diet compares to P90x diet when it comes to results. I know they are different types of diets but both seem to produce dramatic results. Thanks

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and was originally on Arnel Ricafranca's workouts, but didn't get the caliber of results that I wanted. I'm very surprised by the MANS diet because it recommends eating fat. I've never heard of anything like this before. I would like to try it out though. I have a few questions: what kind of fatty foods do you recommend eating? I'm thinking healthy fats like nuts, dairy products, and meat fat are ok, but what about unhealthy fatty foods like mayonnaise, fast food, chocolate, ice cream, french fries, chips, fried chicken, etc. Would you recommend eating those? Are there still fatty foods I should avoid? Thanks!

One more question: If I change my diet to eating lots of fat, won't I start to accumulate fat on my body and most importantly won't I get extra fat on my abs?! That is not what I want.

no, because as long as you avoid carbs (your body's fuel), your body will burn fat for energy (your bodys alternative energy source :) )

The one thing that this site fails to address is a good solid easy meal plan. For example I'm to consume 4000 cals a day. I know what foods to eat and not to eat, But trying to figure it out over 6 meals a day is daunting. Plus how the hell does any one eat that much. I believe that if there was a begginer meal plan broken down in to 2,000 2,500 3,000 3,500 and 4,000cals that more people would give this diet a go. As it stands now this is the easiest diet in the world at first glance, but after futher review the mountain looks very big. I would realy like to try this but eather I'm making this out to be more difficulte than it is, or I'm stuped.

It's my first time here and really want to give the M.A.N.S diet a go. Just a couple of silly questions. I'll be taking some creatine with some grape juice that's high carbs...it's the grape juice necessary or can i just use water? In order to ensure that i get enough good fat, can i use butter instead of oil to fry my eggs? And is this diet good too use with TA3.0 based on the frequency of the workouts per week (haven't found my POP yet). Thanks peeps!

Lots of people just add the creatine to their post-workout shake. You don't need the grape juice. Butter's fine, but you also want to use oil, because butter's more of a saturated fat source and if you choose the right oil you it's a good source of mono-unsaturated fats.
