Favourites

What are your favourite supplements and why do you use them?
Please include brands and what they're supposed to do.
I use a mass gainer from Optimum Health with protein, BCAA's and carbs.
Post workout, I have an all in one from Reflex
I also use Tribulis with zma, fish oils, glucosamine (over 40) and a multi vit.

I'm hoping to streamline this to testobooster, protein, creatine and aminos, but wonder whether bcaa's or specific aminos are best?
I'm keeping the multi and glucosamine as I haven't had an ache or pain since I started using them and efa's help out too.

If you don't recognise the brands, it's because I'm from the UK.
Thanks

Aches and pains galore now.
Hoping liquid aminos do the job

Im using Universal Animal Omega, ON Optimen, MRM whey protein,,,and finished my first bottle of VPX Clenbutrx Hardcore and today starting to take an ECA Stack to conclude mi TSPA program..

what im not sure, is if ECA Stack is actually superior to any ephedra-free fat burners,,,what do u think?

I'm not sure fat burners work at all.
Having said that, I'm adding powdered cinnamon to all my shakes lately (partly to disguise the taste of creatine ethyl ester and partly for it's thermogenic effects) and seeing a slow decrease in fat, but it's a long slow process

I recommend you creatine monohydrate...its supposedly to be the best, and also Mark has an article here.
About the EFAs im taking (Animal Omega), i think are too expensive..and has a big EFA dose..i dont know if change to EFA LEAN LABRADA, algo a very good product..and has exactly the half dose of the Animal Omega..i think that for my weight, (154lbs with 10% fat, and 177cm) its not neccesarily to take the EFA dose of Animal Omega, or what do u think? that could save lots of money..i mean, the average dose is for "an elite bodybuilder", someone bigger..so im really checking that to keep buying multi and efas every month..

Extra virgin olive oil is cheaper than an efa supplement.
Take a tablespoon with your 1st, 3rd and last meal / shake and watch the difference
Forget the supplement companies, do it natural and save money

Aside from your basic multi-vitamin, I use ON's natural whey protein in the morning and post workout.

I agree that nutrients should come naturally from food when they can, supplements are a waste of money for the most part. The nutritional supplements give you what real food could have already given you, while the chemically enhanced booster supplements give you temporary progress that will likely regress once you are off the supplement anyway.

Protein powder post-workout
Multi vit
Omega3 fish oil
Ocasionally creatine, but I find the gains don't stick (is it just water weight it gives you?)

...nothing else. I know in Total Six Pack Abs Mark recommends some other stuff, any thoughts on those? Can't say I'd be tempted to try them, seem like an expensive way to get marginal results (if any).
