Should a 15 year old doing the THT program use creatine?

Postby pfcrock on Tue Jan 26, 2010 11:56 am

I'm 15 and am onto my second 10 week cycle of the THT program, I think it is fab but my question is:

Should I be using creatine like it is explained in the manual? Is it worth it?

Cheers :)

i'm 17 (18 in a week) and i use creatine. although i dont 'cycle' it or whatever it says to do. there are many articles on here about taking it 3 days on 3 days off sort of thing vs. everyday. and i'd say do it everyday. cuz the 3 days on idea makes you drink 6 EXTRA glasses of water. and its not cool to be pissing like 14 times a day hahah.

Haha. Cheers for that.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to whether I should cylce it like stated? (ie. do it for 10 weeks then stop for a couple weeks)

That is like asking if you should eat red meat? Only those on the fringes would say no. Before we had all the supplements we have to day it was common for bodybuilders back in Arnold's day even if they where on steroids to try to get 5lbs of steak in int he evening? Guess how much creatine is in 5lbs of steak? The magical minimum you would need to take to notice significant gains in muscle mass if done daily. Their is even a photo or Arnold eating this huge piece of round steak because when I was a kid round steak was lean and cheap! Since creatine is in red meat and many other things we eat you can not get away from it. The only difference is that today you can get it minus all the extra calories in it's pure form! So anyone that does not understand this does not understand their body or what the food they are eating is made up from!

Also one does not need to load it just speeds up the process and your results. It will accumulate in your system if you take in more then enough even with out loading it can just take a while to see the results is all if you skip loading. Their has been a lot of study of this in AIDS patients, people with various wasting diseases, cancer, athletes, soldiers etc.........The worst sides that only a few experience is diareaha, muscle cramps and some skewed lab results but if the doctor understands his microbiology he should be able to make sense of the skewed results as all the other indicators of Kidney disease will be missing especially if you explain what your taking. In fact their are some steroids that trigger the body to hold onto more creatine then it normaly would one of those is Trenbolone also know as FInject so the idea of getting the body to hold onto more creatine is not new it just never occurred to them that you could just add creatine tot he body and skip the rest and still get results! So when you look at the lack of serious sides, cheap price and positive results creatine is almost to weight lifting what Asprin was to pain relief a mircle product!

I'm 16 and started using creatine. I can really feel the pump during my workouts and have been busting through my plateaus !
