BIG FOUR. Advice please?

Hi. Hope to get a little guidance on this please? I've just changed my routine to concentrate on Bar Bell squat, Deadlift, Bench and Press. Apart from weighted dips supersetted with pulldowns and pull ups after my bench, this is all I do. Now. I do about two warm up sets before each exercise, building up to my working set. I then do ONE working set. To failure. Then I move on. At least this is the intention. My question is this. Is this enough? I try and do this 3 days a week, break inbetween each day.

What are your thoughts?

Mark has a lot of good information in the blog section of musclehack.com. If you do a little reading I am confident you will find the answer to your question. Since you are concingtrating on the "big three" (squat, deadlift, and bench) I have to assume that your goal is building lots of muscle. If that is the case, you would serve yourself well to check out one of the THT workouts and commit to it for at least one cycle. You will be amazed at the progress you make. Thanks for that, yes I'll check out the blogs. I'll admit though that alot of the science goes over my head a bit, but yes, I am aiming to beef up but have also found that these exercises seem to provide the amount of exertion I feel I need - something I didn't think I got from a lot if isolation exercises..IThese compounds are also attractive to me in terms of time efficiency. But I realise I need to tweek things. I'm just trying to find my feet. Thanks for the comment though!
