I was wondering if Cable Bent-over Leg Curl was a good option to alternate every now and then with Leg Curl :?:

Aside from it looks like a good way for the clumsy among us to hurt ourselves, I don't see why not.

The $64,000 questions are always the same - does the tension diminish during the rep, and is the motion effective. The really nice thing with cables is it's next to impossible to do exercises with them and run into diminished resistance (think flat bench dumbbell flies at the top of the rep - there's no stress on the chest anymore). As to this exercise specficially, a curl is a curl, the motion of your leg is identical, so yes, you could sub out for some variety if you wanted. Don't wager you'd see any difference in strength gains, but a little variety can definitely keep your workouts from becoming stale, which for some folks makes a big psychological difference. :)

Seems unnecessary to super-set SLDLs. The isolation on a SLDL is already pretty freaking great (the motion if done correctly takes the quads completely out of the equation). Flip side of the same coin, I can't think of a reason not to do what you're describing, either. If you decide to make this tweak, definitely track your mass and strength gains and let us all know how it goes!
