Does this look right?

Postby DoctorWorm on Mon Dec 19, 2011 6:50 pm

Hi All

New to BB and weigh training in general so please forgive me is I seem a rank amateur. Anyway, I finished my first day of volume 1 aiming for the 8-12 rep range and below is what I managed. Does this seem right and am I doing it correctly? Also, what weights should I aim for next week Monday roughly? I'm not sure how much my strength is expected to increase by next week (if at all?)

Any comments would be appreciated :D

If you can hit 12 reps or more on the first set of any exercise then the following week increas the weight of that exercise by between 5 and 10 %. You have a couple of first sets where you managed about 15 reps. Defo increases the weight on these. Also on subsequent sets you should lower the weight a little bit, unless wth the lower weight you are still hitting the 12 mark. I have my own progression laid out in te development section of the forum if you want to have a look at it. It's under the heading MANS progression log.
All the best
