Muscle to fat gain...and muscle increases

I am interested in how much muscle to fat you are gaining on MANS / GLAD...and how much muscle you are putting on weekly? To see what we might expect on the plan.

Interesting article Jim, all te more so because it is the formula that i a practicing myself. In the past i have put on a lot of extra weight when bulking, but not any more. I increase my calories only enough to ensure constant increase in strength and reps. If the progress slows down or stops i eat a bit more. If my strenght is going up ata steady pace but i'm putting on to much body fat i cut the calories back. Simple really, when you think about it. It does take a little practice and you hve to have to keep good records of your training and eating but it's well worth it. I'm currently about half way through a short 10 week build phase and my body fat has actually dropped slightly. Perfect, because i plan another cutting phase a the end of it so that i can get down to under 10% bf later this year.

Based on the two week stall in weight gain and rep increase I had two weeks ago....I followed the advice from some on the forum and increased calories 200/day. First week after that I gained 2 pounds....and this week no body weight increase...so I may have had a little spurt and my body is adjusting. My BF has not changed much 6.0 to 6.3. And the strength came back a bit. One more week and I am taking a week off to recharge.
