As you're all aware, New Year's Eve is fast approaching, which means a lot of us will be ringing in the new year at a party or club of some kind. My plans are to be at an all-night party/club... which means I could be dancing (on & off) for 4-8 hours. Since dancing is aerobic exercise... and since extended aerobic exercise can eat into our hard-gained muscle, I was wondering if there's anything I can do, eat or drink... before, during, and after my big night out... that will minimize any muscle loss.
I know this is a strange question, and I hope it's not inappropriate... but since I've cut out all cardio (from my workout)... I was just concerned that the sudden burst of cardio-like exercise might shock my body into eating the little bit of muscle I've gained over the past year.
