I invested in a sissy squat and it arrived today, my leg day was today so it couldn't have arrived at a better time, so i went through my leg routine and finished off with the sissy squat going 12 15 reps 3 sets, it was only meant to be 2 sets but my first set was diabolical haha.
My overall view of this piece of machinery is it definitly is a good investment, not that hard to get use to the actuall overall movement and i wouldn't say as of yet that it's as effective as single leg squats on the smith machine but it definitlly brought up alot more vascularity than i thought it would, my veins where popping out like crazy and really did give me an awesome pump, it'll be interesting to see if this subsides after a few workouts or if it gets better as i start introducing plates, dont know if i would use it as a warm-up excercise as i think it would fatigue the quads too much, but yeah overall a great excercise for finishing off the quads
