THT 3.0 Update

Postby krs on Thu Jul 01, 2010 3:09 pm

I have been doing the THT 3.0 with the GLAD diet for 6 weeks now and have made some great gains especially my chest, biceps, and calves.

I am not a big fan of a full body workout but with the gains I have made there's no need to change things.

With each workout my strength gains have gone up, my POP is every 72hrs so I workout out 19.30 pm Mon and train again 19.30pm Thu so at the moment I am pleased how things have be going.

Yes have notice a change in size even without measuring.

I have followed Marks programme to the letter with a few changes for certain exercises due to personal or unavailable equipment.

Pec deck subbed for DB Partial fly’s suppersetted with flat bench press. I have no pec deck.

I prefer pull-ups instead of pulldowns personal choice.

Prefer weighted cable crunches instead of weighted Decline sit-ups personal choice.

Nice one, I may superset chest as well as I don't have a pec deck at my gym!

Cheers for the tips!

I workout at home but if your gym has a Lever Seated Fly ,Cable Standing Fly they are very good options to choose even supersetted with Cable Chest Press or Bench Press.

Wow...glad to hear that from you Krs..i really havent tried the THT 3.0 because of everybody saying its more complicated..and for me, the reason is because i have a home gym equipment that has the rack, bench, olimpic bar, Z olimpic bar, dumbells and thats all..so, things like leg press and cables are not available for me..do u think there is a chance that some of that exercises could be substituted for some with that available equipment..

do u really noticed a difference between THT 2 and THT 3?

cheers and thanks

Lol, so many people with home gyms here. Is the economy affecting you guys this much?

There's several different exercises you can substitute. Find whatever has the best PCP for you, it's not hard to figure out.

Krooy Substitute leg press with either front squats or leg lunges just as good.
If you choose front squats try using a Coleman style this will have a PCP effect by keeping the stress on your thighs.

Substitute cable pull-downs with pull-ups .

Substitute pec deck with partial DB flies
