I have been doing barbel squats & Leg press to work my quads, butt, hamstrings etc. I have seen a few chicks at the gym with great legs who are doing the weighted step-ups. Does this work the leg muscles in a different way or is it the same as doing squats? Also, will weighted step ups help increase my weight on squats, I noticed after I started doing barbell squats I can push more weight on the leg press.
