Women's training query

Hi all,

Happy new year and whatnot.

My wife is keen to lose fat and tone up but is concerned that THT will result in her building more muscle than she wants to and that she'll bulk up instead of being lean/toned like she wants to be.
She's aware that before any amount of muscle will show, her BF% needs to come down, but isn't sure what she should be doing training-wise once she's there.

Any thoughts, suggestions, opinions, links etc. would be appreciated.

P.S. both of us are following TSPA from an eating point of view.

Your wife has nothing to worry about. Women produce way to much estrogen to put on lots of muscle. I'm a personal trainer and gym instrutor and i hear this all the time from the women i train. So unless she is planning to start injecting herself with steroids and testerone she has noting to worry about. All that will happen to her on the THT program is that she will get into possibley the best shape of her life and look great on the beach.

Its kind of funny how women seem to think its so easy to bulk up by lifting weights. You would think they see these kind of amazon women everywhere and yet in reality they just simply don't exist unless they are taking steroids and competing in body building contests. :D
